These abstract charcoal drawings continue my exploration of light, perception and the hidden structures that shape how we experience the world. Built through repeated drawing, smudging and erasure, they evolve intuitively as forms emerge from the interaction of light and darkness. Although rooted in the same concerns that inform my photography and sculpture, charcoal allows the work to develop more directly through gesture, reduction and discovery.
